The fleet used by Wheel King Transhaul includes technology-enhanced, modern vehicles that provide a safe and reliable means to move each customer’s freight, throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico. Modern fleets are built with technology, such as advanced monitoring tools and new equipment that provide higher performance levels than older fleets and greater control over all aspects of your supply chain.
We have implemented a program where our tractor and trailers have an average age of just five years, which reduces the risk of breakdowns and maintains the vehicle at its highest level of operation. This is achieved through the implementation of preventive maintenance programs and regular inspections and monitoring, resulting in a lower amount of downtime for our customers.
In addition, we utilize additional technologies to support the visibility of your cargo and ensure its security; including, GPS tracking on all of our tractors and trailers 24 hours per day, seven days a week. We also use both inward- and outward-facing cameras and intelligent trailer sensors that allow us to monitor temperature, humidity and door activity. The data from these systems provides you with the ability to track the status and location of your freight and gives your insight into how it has been handled throughout the shipping process. Additionally, you will be able to view your freight through live interior trailer video throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico.
