Main duties:
Develop and document software testing plans
Install software and hardware and configure operating system software in preparation for testing
Execute, analyze and document results of software application, video game and information and telecommunication systems tests
Develop and implement software and information system testing policies, procedures and scripts
Identify, report, track and propose solutions to product defects.
Employment requirements
Completion of a college program in computer required.

Job details of GARAGE SUPERVISOR

Shop and Supplies Supervisor

Primary Objectives:

- Order parts as requested/required

- Work with multiple vendors to obtain quotes

- Verify & receive vendor shipments and report any damages or discrepancies

- Manage the delivery of back-ordered products and returns

- Maintain material stocks and parts inventory including allocating inventory to jobs

- Maintain the inventory in an efficient, organized and safe manner

- Maintain records and withdrawals of all items removed from stock

- Contribute to and maintain a clean and safe facility

- Prepare and prioritize work orders and schedule service calls and appointments accordingly

- Handle and respond to inbound calls for both internal and external repairs and/or service.

- Clean, repair, recondition and maintain equipment and components as required

- Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor

- Ensure Company Safety policies and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE guidelines) are always followed

Education & Experience

- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in the service and repair industry is an asset

- Strong mechanical background in all phases of truck/trailer repair and maintenance is an asset

- Familiar with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Valid driver’s license

- Experience working with Mechanics

- Strong Computer Skills with intermediate abilities in Microsoft Office

Physical Demands

- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

- Ability to safely lift heavy parts (i.e. brake drums, tires, etc.)

- Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions as required

- Regular, predictable and full attendance is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Move Loads from toronto to montreal

- Maintain accurate, delivery, fuel and pick up records

- Perform pre-operational checks (DVIR) and keep accurate ELD records of duty status (ERODS) as well as checking coolant, oil and other fluid levels

- Report all defects and coordinate with Dispatch for necessary repairs and maintenance

- Obtain customer signature on P.O.D.'s, if not already signed

- Inform Dispatch immediately of difficulties with deliveries or pick ups

- Double check delivered items to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered

- Notify Dispatch if behind schedule so customers may be advised of delay.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Valid Commercial Driver's Class AZ (for Truck & Trailer – 53 ft) required

- 2*+ years’ of verifiable experience in driving tractor trailer combinations (53 ft)*

- License in good standing and a clean Driver's Motor Vehicle Record

- Have the right to work and/or live in the canada

- No At-Fault Accidents with the past ten years

- No DUI in the past ten years

- Clear Criminal Background Check

- Pass pre-employment Drug Screening

- Attend 1 day Company provided Orientation program

- Must be Customer oriented, professional and courteous at all times

- Must abide by CANADA DOT transportation regulations

- Must be able to safely drive in all types of weather

- Strong command of the English language – verbal & written

- Must have own cell phone and reliable transportation

- Demonstrate knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act & Hours of Service

- Must be able to complete a Road Evaluation to demonstrate knowledge of and the ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer unit (Pre-Trip, Air Brakes, Coupling & Un-coupling, Road Test, Backing exercise, etc.)
